As lockdown measures start to ease The Scout Association have been working with youth sector partners, alongside Government guidance to understand what a safe return to face-to-face activities may look like when the readiness level reduces from red.
From today (6 July), the rules in England have changed and we are moving to the Amber readiness level, alongside the rest of the youth sector. This means for most Scouts in England you can now organise COVID-19 safe face-to-face activities outdoors only with a maximum group size of 15.
Our leaders will now start putting together safe programs and risk assessments, which will allows to meet outdoors.
This is fantastic news for everyone and will greatly improve our health and well being.
Unfortunately, we’re still not able to take in new members, but your welcome to complete our enquiry form and be added to the waiting list.
